Fed up with the Status Quo

Here at suprents.com we are shaking up the paddle board rental industry.  Like you, we’ve been victims of the limitations of renting a paddle board.  Whether that limit is the location of the rental company, or the exorbitant costs charged by those rental companies we’ve felt the same pain that you guys have.  When we started suprents.com we set out to change things and I think we have succeeded.

The first problem is a big one,  the board is huge!  At over 10 feet long you can’t just throw these things in the trunk of the car... unless you rent from us.  With our inflatable paddle boards you are no longer limited to the bay, lake or bend in the river the where the rental hut is located.  For instance, you're on vacation in Kauai and you want to paddle in Hanalei Bay but the weather is terrible.  With our boards you can throw them in your subcompact rental car and drive up to the Wailua River for a lazy river paddle. The point is, you are no longer limited by where you rent the board!  You don’t have a roof rack on your rental car? Who cares!  We can fit 4 boards in the trunk of an average sedan.

At suprents.com we knew that still wasn’t good enough.  Who wants to call all over to find a good price on a rental, only to find out you have to drive 45 minutes to pick up the board?  We don’t even make you leave home to go and pick the board up.  Your board will arrive at your hotel, home or vacation rental with everything you need to be on the water in minutes.

So, we’ve solved the location problem, but a premium service like this has to cost more than the hut down by the beach, right?  Wrong!  We are so passionate about making paddle boarding available wherever you are that we decided to make it cheaper than all the local rental companies.   Our prices start at $17 per day!  The national average price per day is closer to $60.  So go ahead and splurge on those Orbitwheels you were eyeing in the Skymall catalogue on the flight over.

Lets review.

1.  suprents.com is ultra portable!

2. We fit 4 boards in the trunk of the car!

3. We ship the boards to your door!

4. We are by far the most affordable rental company!

It’s a no brainer.  Our method is better in every possible way.  So go ahead and spring for that ocean front hotel room (or those Orbitwheels).  You just saved $43/day by renting from us!

How rigid are Suprents.com paddle boards?

Here at SUPrents.com we are all about dispelling rumors.  Lately, there has been a nasty rumor going around.  Thankfully, it doesn't have anything to do with Ashley Madison.  The rumor is that inflatable paddle boards leave much to be desired in terms of ride quality.  We have been receiving questions regarding the rigidity and durability of the boards.  We get it.  We were skeptical when we first heard of inflatable paddle boards as well.  We were picturing someone standing on a glorified pool toy half submerged in water.  Thankfully that is not the case.  The Tower Adventurer paddle board is so rigid we put one of the owners of Suprents.com on the board being held 3 feet off the ground to demonstrate just how stiff this SUP gets.

One of our co-founders Scott took the family to the Oregon Coast recently.  Somehow he was able to sucker Jeff and Rick into holding him and the board up so he could demonstrate just how rigid our inflatable boards are.

The development of iSups or inflatable paddle boards has improved so much in the last 2 years it is truly astonishing.  With the advent of drop stitch technology inflatable paddle boards have essentially leveled the playing field with traditional fiberglass boards in terms of rider experience and far surpassed them in terms of convenience.

We have heard the complaints from people that have tried an inflatable SUP in the past and hated it.  When pressed for more information it turns out these people were on a cheap 4 inch thick glorified kids pool toy over 3 years ago.  After some convincing, we got them to try the 6 inch thick Tower Adventurer board and they were shocked at how well it performed.  This board is made of 6 inch thick military grade drop stitch rubber.  This is the same material used in Zodiac rafts.  The way we see it, if it’s good enough for the Navy Seals it has to be good enough to SUP.

Still skeptical?  Take one out for yourself and see.  Our rental program is the perfect way to try before you buy.  Starting next week if you rent a board from us and decide you want to keep it we'll sell it to you at a discounted rate.

Epic Sparks Lake Sunrise Session

It doesn't get much better than this! We headed up to the Cascade Lakes outside Bend, Oregon with 2 inflatable paddle boards in the trunk of the car, coffee and a GoPro and scored a breathtaking sunrise at Sparks Lake. With the sun rising over the Cascade Mountain range and a foggy mist dancing over the water it ended up being one of those days we'll remember for years to come. We explored the lake while testing out our new rental boards and soaked it all in.

Check out this video for a glimpse!

Sparks Lake

Eric and Scott made the early morning trek out to Sparks Lake at the foot of Mount Bachelor, Broken Top and The Three Sisters to test out the brand new Tower Adventurer paddle boards.  We could bore you with the details but I'll just let these pictures do all the talking.

Pre-sunrise.  Temps were not quite ideal, but the beauty was undeniable.
