Onewheel Pint S Unboxing – Small Board, Big Fun

Onewheel PInt S with new flared footpads

The new Onewheel Pint S has officially landed, and after spending some time with it, we can confidently say this board is going to be a blast for a lot of riders.

At first glance, the Pint S keeps the compact, nimble feel that made the original Pint lineup so popular. But Future Motion added some meaningful upgrades that make this board feel more refined, more capable, and more fun right out of the box.

We recently got our hands on a Pint S and filmed a full unboxing video where we walk through everything included in the box, take a close look at the board itself, and share some first impressions.

What Makes the Pint S Stand Out?

The Pint S feels like a natural evolution of the Pint platform. It keeps the smaller form factor that makes it easy to carry, store, and maneuver, while adding premium touches and upgraded performance features that riders will definitely notice.

Some highlights include:

  • Sleek new styling

  • Improved ride feel and stability

  • Upgraded footpads and tire setup

  • Better overall refinement compared to earlier Pint models

For newer riders, the Pint S is approachable and confidence inspiring. For experienced riders, it still delivers that playful Pint carving feel that makes these boards so addictive.

Unboxing the Onewheel XR Classic: First Look with SUPrents

There’s something about opening a brand-new board that never gets old. The anticipation, the details, that first look at what’s about to take you on your next ride—it’s all part of the experience. And with the Onewheel XR Classic, that experience feels especially nostalgic.

At SUPrents, we’ve spent a lot of time around Onewheels of all kinds, but the XR Classic hits a little different. It brings back the simplicity and feel that made the original XR such a favorite, while still delivering the performance riders expect. This isn’t about reinventing the wheel—it’s about reconnecting with what made people fall in love with it in the first place.

The XR Classic keeps things clean and familiar. Solid range, dependable power, and that unmistakable ride feel that XR riders swear by. It’s the kind of board that doesn’t need a ton of explanation—you step on, lean forward, and it just works. Whether you’re carving pavement, cruising neighborhoods, or exploring dirt paths, it’s built to do it all without overcomplicating the experience.

But honestly, the best way to get a feel for it isn’t to read about it—it’s to see it.

We put together a full unboxing video so you can experience that first look right along with us. From opening the box to checking out the details up close, it’s all there. If you’re considering picking one up, or just want to see what the XR Classic is all about, this is a great place to start.

Inflatable vs Hard Paddle Boards: Speed Comparison

Our friends over at Isle Surf & SUP recently did a really interesting speed comparison between inflatable paddle boards and traditional hard boards. The results might surprise you. They tested multiple boards and found that on average the hard boards were only 5-6% faster than the comparable inflatable boards. Proving once again that unless you're wanting to surf or race, an inflatable is the way to go. Convenience, convenience, convenience! I'll take a 5% speed decrease any day of the week if I don't have to deal with roof racks, worry about my board being damaged and have room to load three friends in my car with four iSUP's. For me, that's what The SUP Life is all about!

Sunny San Diego with a SUPrents.com iSUP

My family loves San Diego! It's where my wife and I went to university and eventually got married, so needless to say we have tons of great memories tied up in this beautiful city.  We love visiting now because we still have friends and family in the area. We try to visit at least once or twice a year and we recently went down for a quick getaway to escape the cold and snow in Bend, Oregon. I packed the San Diego essentials - boardies, sunnies, flip flops and an inflatable standup paddle board from the SUPrents.com board stash!

I threw the board in the trunk of the rental car and was ready to hit the water whenever we had a few free minutes. Downtime is hard to come by when we're in SD because we're trying to see everyone, go everywhere and pump as many california burritos and acai bowls as possible into our stomachs, but that's where the beauty of having an iSUP comes in.... you throw the board in the trunk and you're ready to hit the water anytime/anywhere. All you need is 30 minutes to spare and it's on! It doesn't get much more convenient than that!

Here's a few pictures from our 3 days in sunny SD on the SUPrents.com iSUP...
