What does the optional damage protection cover (Onewheel Skateboards)?
Adding Damage protection covers your Onewheel rental against accidental damage and normal wear and tear under normal riding conditions – including scuffs, dings, scratches and electronic malfunctions .
Should your Onewheel be damaged during the rental period the cost of repair/replacement is covered if damage protection was added to the rental at checkout. If damage protection is not added the person listed on the rental order/agreement is responsible for covering any and all costs associated with repair/replacement within 14 days of the end of rental period. Damage protection does not cover theft or loss. Damage protection cannot be added after the rental period begins. Onewheel damage protection does NOT cover against water damage, sand damage, damage due to reckless/abusive riding or misuse (jumps, drops, snow, rain, etc.).
