The Onewheel+ is awesome! The Onewheel+ XR is awesome-er-er-er-er…. you get the idea.
At SUPrents we’re always on the lookout for products that get us excited! 3 years ago we revolutionized the standup paddle board rental game by allowing you to rent a standup paddle board and have it delivered directly to your door anywhere in the USA. Last year we added Oru kayaks to the fold (get it?). 9 months ago we added the Onewheel+ and now we’ve added the Onewheel+ XR! That’s right, we have the latest and greatest from Future Motion and that means you can now ride up to 18 miles on a single charge!
What is the Onewheel+ XR? Simply put it’s an electric all terrain skateboard that’s self balancing and can handle dirt, grass, sand, gravel and pavement! The board is capable of going 19 mph (though we recommend you keep it below 13 mph) and traveling up to 18 miles on a single charge. The speed is controlled by sensors under your feet. Apply more pressure to your front foot and board speeds up, release that pressure and the board slows down. When you run out of juice, simply plug it back into an outlet and you’ll be back on the road in no time.
It’s one thing to read about it, but it’s another thing to actually ride it. It’s a feeling that is hard to describe, but when we do try to describe it to people, we say it feels like you’re riding a board that is equal part snowboard, surfboard, skateboard and hover board. To be clear, when we say hover board we don’t mean those cheap plastic toys that catch on fire. No, we mean the actual Back II The Future Marty Mcfly hover board.
The rental process works exactly the same as our standup paddle boards and kayaks.
